RoomReport.com is the brainchild of thetrustedtraveler.com President Shawn Habibi. Mr. Habibi travels extensively throughout the world and finds that whenever he is assigned a hotel room he often gets the dreaded "run of house" room, especially at a hotel in which he has never stayed. Often Ocean or City Views can mean an inch of view hidden behind a pilar or awning, and garden view is missing the garden and replaced by a parking lot freeway entrance or rooftop. The rooms on the hotels website may be ancient and not at all what they look like today.

As a frequent business traveler Mr. Habibi can often pick specific seats on airplanes, rent  specific cars at car rental agencies and reserve specific tables at his favorite restaurants, but found it was almost impossible to find the best rooms at hotels, especially at ones in which he has never stayed. Most business travelers and many vacation travelers put a premium on the best rooms at various properties around the world yet often end up getting the least desireable room at that property.

"While traveling on business or holiday, I realized that the most important aspect of travel is the room in which I am staying. I may have a business class seat on an airlplane that can cost four or five thousand dollars, for which I may get 12-24 hours of comfort.  My hotel room might cost three thousand dollars a week for a nice room at a nice hotel.  I can get more work done at the hotel than I can on the flight.
